Wake Forest News Spring 2020

Wake Forest News is a piece that comes out 3 times a year, featuring news stories that have been written about Wake Forest or quoting Wake Forest experts. It collects a wide variety of stories and styles into a unified piece that gives an at-a-glance overview of the current position of the school in the news.

Massive Star Formation poster series

This set of 3 posters were designed for middle-school science classrooms, with a bite-size piece of information on each poster about how stars are formed, how we see that formation, and what we can tell about star-forming regions. The backgrounds are actual images of the star-forming regions being discussed in the text.

Magnolia Scholars series, 2015-2018

This set of annual reports was a 4-year series, following one cohort of students from freshman year through graduation. Magnolia Scholars at Wake Forest are the first in their families to attend college. Each year, we reported statistics about the students’ progress as well as features about the students, and the financial report on the fund. I created a unified look to carry through all four years, with a shifting color palette to differentiate each year from the previous reports.

Student Campaign Environmental

This student campaign sought to bring attention to the benefits the capital campaign brought to students, from scholarships to research funds. This design took advantage of a waterspout feature on campus to deliver an amusing visual along with the featured statistic.
